What You’ll Do- Prepare estimates, bid schedules, and perform takeoffs while preparing and sending preliminary scope letters, bid forms and documents to meet bid schedules.
- Assist with research into detailing, fabrication, and field problems.
- Manage the bid process and coordinate with the responsible salesperson.
- Ensure outstanding service is taking place and all efforts are taken to satisfy customer needs at all levels, including phone calls, meetings and job sites.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for each job and a desirable work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong mathematical and technical writing skills.
- Ability to deal with uncertainty and work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to multi‑task and manage time.
- Ability to interact and communicate with co‑workers, company leaders and customers positively.
- Ability to follow directions, work rules and accept constructive feedback.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Proficiency in Word, PDF application, Adobe or Bluebeam.
- High School Diploma or GED required;
Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
