Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) – Outpatient Practice
Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group – Kankakee, IL

Position Overview:
Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) to join our established outpatient practice located in Kankakee, Illinois. This is a full-time, employed position with a focus on providing high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Specialties Accepted: Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Setting: 100% outpatient
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours
  • No inpatient or hospital call responsibilities
  • Average patient load: Manageable volume to ensure quality care
  • Support staff: Experienced clinical and administrative team
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Fully integrated system for streamlined documentation

Requirements:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Eligible for Illinois medical license
  • Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care in an outpatient community setting

Pay Transparency:

Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $275,000 -$300,000 on an annualized basis.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
