Position Summary:

The General Surgeon will provide comprehensive surgical care to patients across a variety of procedures, including but not limited to general, gastrointestinal, and minimally invasive surgeries. The ideal candidate will be committed to excellent patient outcomes, teamwork, and continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of elective and emergency surgical procedures.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient education and follow-up.
• Collaborate closely with other physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with all regulatory and hospital standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery.
• Valid Illinois medical license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, and surgical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
