Cardiothoracic/Cardiovascular Surgeon
Seeking a Cardiothoracic/Cardiovascular Surgeon to join our dynamic cardiovascular surgery team. We are looking for candidates with an interest in adult cardiac surgery, with a focus on coronary artery disease and structural heart disease, including surgical and trans-catheter aortic valve replacement. Providing care to cardiothoracic surgery patients at Hospital, working closely with advanced practice providers who streamline workflow and patient management.
Starting a TAVR program with the support of 10 cardiologists. Access to state-of-the-art equipment and operating rooms, with brand new hybrid room, 15 modern surgical suites and 3 Da Vinci Xi robots. 30-bed ICU with dedicated in-house intensivist support. Academic appointment and teaching.

Requirements: completion of residency in General Surgery and additional fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery or completion of an Integrated-6 year or 4-3 Early Specialization cardiothoracic residency, active IL license, and DEA.
Located 1-1.5 hours from the Chicago area. A 400-bed tertiary referral center.
