Student Teaching Placement
Prospective student teachers or student teaching observation requests must complete an online application. The application process begins with the submission of the online application. Applicants must upload the following documents when completing the online application: a letter of request for placement from the university or college, all applicable transcripts, and a personal data sheet or resume. Candidates will be selected and names will be shared with the building principals and cooperating teachers.
You will be notified by the Curriculum and Instruction Department regarding your request for student teaching placement. Human Resources will contact applicants that are placed with the necessary paperwork that will need to be completed prior to when you start your student teaching assignment. Student teachers who are accepted must complete a background check and completion of all E-forms before starting their student teaching in the district.
