Current rate of pay:
Regular substitute = $140 per day Permanent substitute = $165 per day Long-term substitute = $140 per day for days 1-10 then $165 per day for days 11+. Requirements:
Must hold a bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education. License is valid for substitute teaching in all grades of the public school, Pre-K to Grade 12.
Note:
Sub licenses are valid for 5 years and may be renewed with payment of registration fees. If you hold a valid professional educator license or educator license with stipulations that requires a bachelor's degree for issuance, you are qualified to be a substitute teacher.
