Guest Educator
Continual Responsibilities:
District 65 has PreK-8th grade students. Guest Educators step in for primary classroom teachers when they are absent.
Duties include:
Classroom Management
- Ensure the classroom is a safe and productive learning environment Following teacher directed lesson plans and keep attendance records Assist students with schoolwork Support and enforce all school rules and regulations Other duties as assigned by the building principal and administration Benefits Flexibility
- You create your own schedule and pick your assignments Paid Bi-Monthly REQUIRED Licensure To be eligible for the Guest Educator position, applicants must hold a current and valid license from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). Specifically, Guest Educators are required to possess a Substitute (SUB), Professional Educator License (PEL), or Teaching Certification (STS) and be licensed in Region
5. Compensation:
Daily Rate: $150.00
Qualifications:
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License or Substitute License registered for Region 5 Demonstrate consistent work attendance and punctuality Maintain student and staff confidentiality
