Safety And Health Manager
Must have at least (2) years of safety and health experience within distribution, warehousing or manufacturing operations. Position will be responsible for supporting the Corporate EHS Manager by managing all safety related items such as metrics management, training, protocols, practices, and governmental programs (OSHA, DOT, EPA) within their distribution operations. (20%) travel requirements within the US.
Position will manage the planning, administration, training, and implementation of company EHS programs to ensure compliance with company policies/systems. Promote safety and health awareness and coach site level Safety Specialists regarding safety initiatives and new training programs. Technical experience should include training, tracking data, auditing, evaluating injury trends, reports, working on solutions and best practices.
Personality traits should include being innovative, analytical, strong influencing skills and approachable.
