Project Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer

• Follow and promote FEL process and FEL governance adherence.
• Identify safety and environmental needs and ensure such considerations are included in the development of the project.
• Design process systems and equipment required for the project.
• Develop equipment lists and P&IDs required for the project.
• Coordinate labor, determine their needs, oversee their performance, and ensure that all work is completed on schedule.
• Coordinate site personnel on all assigned projects including coordination between subcontractors, craft labor and post-order construction.
• Design processes and equipment for large-scale manufacturing, plan and test production methods and byproducts treatment.
• Design and plan the layout of equipment.
• Develop processes for separating components of liquids and gases by using controlled chemical processes.
• Conduct tests and monitor the performance of processes throughout production.
• Troubleshoot problems with manufacturing processes and develop countermeasures based on Root Cause Analysis.
• Evaluate equipment and processes to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Estimate production costs for management.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field
• PSM experience preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a production engineer, plant engineer, or in a related occupation.
• Designing and installing large equipment in processing facilities.
• In depth knowledge of process controls (DCS/PLC), instrumentation, and control strategy implementation.
• Pressure vessels and code piping design.
• Planning and monitoring the delivery of projects from project initiation to project closure.
