Vehicle Management / Flying Engineer

San Francisco, CA Background and Meet and Greet: MANDATORY

You will be working on a Data Acquisition project within ADAS space. Data collection is a critical component of automated driving. Therefore, basic understanding of ADAS is nice to have. You will work closely with ADAS team in Germany who are the prime for this project. You will be handling any and all vehicle-related technical issues, that will include travel to where the vehicle will be located and root cause.

Interaction with on-the-ground crew driving cars and helping resolve issues is of great importance. Being proactive in detecting problems and helping resolve is a plus in addition to the following.

· BS in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Information Technology or Business/Finance

· 2 + years of experience of Vehicle Integration work, Experience with CAN, Ethernet, Flex Ray, ADAS systems, and mechanical, electrical, and software integration.

· Sensor Technologies:
Configuration, calibration, and validation of radar, lidar, and camera systems including sensor fusion.

· Diagnostics & Flashing:
Knowledge and use of Vector tools (CANoe, vFlash) for ECU diagnostics and calibration.

· Ownership & Problem Solving:
Independent work, proactive troubleshooting, and adaptability in dynamic projects.

· Excellent communication skills and ability to verbalize complex issues in simple English

· Should be self-motivated

· Cross functional collaboration with German Engineering team to root cause issues and address without delay
