• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
• 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility

Emergency Room registered nurses provide care for patients requiring emergency attention and must be able to recognize and treat life‑threatening conditions.

• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of traumas and illnesses with decisive action.
• Understand general and specific health issues related to the emergency setting.
• Apply triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick, accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
