Kankakee Autism Care Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Support Technician to join our part-time after-school program in Kankakee, IL. This role is ideal for an RBT who values consistency, evidence-based care, and meaningful work with children. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

If you meet the following criteria, we want you as our Behavioral Support Technician!

  • Active RBT certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to collect accurate data and maintain HIPAA-compliant records
  • Strong communication skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others improve their lives through behavioral therapy
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality

Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities and knowledge of ABA principles are preferred.

DAY-TO-DAY

This is a part-time position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 12:30 PM to 7 PM
.

As our Behavioral Support Technician, you'll work directly with children in an after-school setting by implementing BCBA-designed treatment plans and providing individualized behavioral support. You'll also engage clients in structured therapeutic activities, collect and document progress data, communicate with families, collaborate with team members, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism throughout each session.
