Sanitation Technician 1st Shift Mon-Thur

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly sanitation tasks as outlined in the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and designated by the Quality Manager.
• Clean floors, walls, ceilings, and moving stock with chemicals.
• Adhere to safety and chemical standards.
• Perform interior and exterior sanitation tasks.
• Maintain food safety by keeping facility areas clean.
• In the absence of the Quality Manager, follow delegated tasks.
• Report food safety, food quality, or plant safety issues.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior sanitation experience preferred.
• Ability to hear and follow verbal instructions.
• Read, understand, and follow verbal and written directions.
• Good documentation skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, and smell.
• Occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
• Require specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes/airborne particles; risk of electrical shock and vibration.
• May be exposed to high areas using scissor lifts.
