Welder - Manufacturing

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Welder to join a growing manufacturing team. This position will perform production welding from blueprints while maintaining high standards for weld quality, consistency, and safety.

Schedule Options:

• Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Perform consistent, high-quality welds in various positions
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
• Set welding machine parameters based on material and job requirements
• Construct weld samples and components according to prints
• Use hand grinders and other fabrication tools
• Create and utilize welding fixtures
• Program and operate robotic welding equipment, including basic program editing and restarts
• Perform routine welding machine maintenance
• Operate a forklift as needed
• Identify and communicate design or fabrication inconsistencies to engineering
• Follow all safety and quality procedures

Qualifications

• Previous production welding or metal fabrication experience
• Ability to successfully complete a basic welding test
• Strong blueprint and weld-symbol reading skills
• Ability to weld in multiple positions
• Knowledge of proper weld appearance and quality standards
• Ability to use tape measures and other measuring instruments
• Experience setting welding machine parameters
• Robotic welding experience is a plus
• Forklift experience preferred
