QC Analyst

Reports to: Group Lead or Team Lead

Position is in the QC Sample Management Group – QC Sampling Team

• Sampling/collecting of all routine Environmental and Utility Monitoring samples for the site.
• Maintains accurate, complete, legible and concurrent records of work performed and enters results in the LIMS system.
• Under general supervision, carries out production-related tests and inspections to control quality.
• Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintains compliance to current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) regulatory guidelines.
• Follows schedules and meets deadlines.
• Communicates aberrant results to laboratory supervision immediately.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of the LIMS computer system. Enters data and results into the system.
• Gains an awareness of cGMP and maintains compliance with these regulations.
• Follows company and departmental policies.
• Completes other duties as assigned by Laboratory Management.
• Maintains clean and safe working area and equipment.

• BS/BA related science (Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry)

• 0-2 years lab experience

• Knowledge of cGMP standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QC systems

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Capacity to work independently or in a team environment
• Effective oral and written communications
• Interpersonal Savvy

Expected wage range at hiring: $24.04/hour - $29.81/hour. Individual base pay determined by qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies and other relevant factors.
