AFH Area Sales Manager
The AFH Area Sales Manager (ASM) plays a critical role as the field sales "general manager" of their market and leads the sales, people, and strategy for their geography. From a sales perspective, the ASM is responsible for delivering plan, sales growth, and specified AOP priorities. From a people perspective, the ASM will lead and develop a field sales team of Market Development Managers (MDMs) and Operator Territory Managers (OTMs).
From a strategy perspective, the ASM is responsible for AOP planning as well as on-going analyses of their market trends to identify gaps in plan and execution.
This role will lead the Heartland area (IL, WI, MO) and reports directly to the Central Region Director. Candidates must reside in the territory. Strong preference for this role to reside in Chicago.

Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $123,500 - $206,750.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

- Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
- Food service or consumer packaged goods experience
- People management experience preferred
- Solid leadership and interpersonal skills required

- Demonstrated professionalism and dependability
- Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills
- Solid understanding of financials including P&L impact of sales decisions
- Must be willing and able to lift 40 lbs. periodically
- Ability to travel approximately 40% - 60% of the week
