We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pipe Welder/Fitter to fabricate, assemble, install, and repair piping systems in accordance with engineering specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate has experience interpreting blueprints, performing precision welding and fitting, and maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Position Responsibilities Pipe Fabrication & Fitting- Measure, cut, fit, and assemble piping systems according to specifications.
- Prepare pipes, fittings, and components for installation and welding.
- Verify alignment and proper fit before final assembly.
- Perform high-quality pipe welding using approved welding processes.
- Ensure welds meet quality, safety, and code requirements.
- Inspect completed welds and make necessary repairs when required.
- Install new piping systems and modify existing systems as needed.
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on piping equipment.
- Support equipment shutdowns, upgrades, and maintenance projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and piping schematics.
- Follow engineering specifications and work instructions accurately.
- Verify measurements and material requirements before fabrication.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and applicable industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Participate in quality inspections and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams.
- Communicate project status and potential issues effectively.
Support other maintenance and fabrication activities as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience as a Pipe Welder, Pipe Fitter, or in a related industrial or manufacturing role.
- Ability to read blueprints, piping diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Experience with industrial welding techniques and fabrication equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift materials, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- AWS (American Welding Society) Welding Certification.
- ASME Pipe Welding Certification.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
- NCCER Pipe fitting Certification.
- Forklift or aerial lift certification.
- Confined Space or Rigging certification.
- Salary Range: $82,000 - $92,000 annually.
