Software Engineer – Surveillance & Transponder Systems

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer – Surveillance & Transponder Systems to develop embedded software for surveillance avionics systems, including Traffic Collision Avoidance Systems (TCAS), transponders, Distance Measuring Equipment (DME), Universal Access Transceiver (UAT), and related aircraft subsystems. The ideal candidate will have strong embedded software development experience in safety-critical aerospace environments and be familiar with avionics certification standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop low-level embedded software for surveillance avionics systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain embedded applications using C/C++.
• Support the development of TCAS, DME, UAT, and transponder functionality.
• Participate in software integration, testing, debugging, and validation activities.
• Produce and maintain certification artifacts and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure compliance with aerospace standards and project requirements.

Required qualifications include:

• Hands-on experience developing software under DO-178C guidelines.
• Strong proficiency in Embedded C/C++.
• Experience with avionics surveillance systems and related aircraft subsystems.
• Knowledge of safety-critical embedded software development practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
