Position Overview

PBNA $75000 / year

Position delivers products to stores on an established route or via dynamic dispatch to customers including convenience and gas stores, small supermarkets, drug stores, etc. (average of 15-20 stops per day). Drivers operate the delivery vehicle, unload the trailer, bring products into the store, rotate and stock inventory on shelves, displays, vending equipment, and in coolers. They build displays, set up promotional materials such as pricing signs and banners, generate invoices, and settle daily cash and charges.

The position requires frequent interaction with store management and is labor intensive, involving lifting, loading, and pushing/pulling 20-45 pound cases repeatedly, reaching, squatting, and bending while delivering and merchandising products across a variety of weather conditions. At times, such as during summer and peak seasons, long work hours may be required.

Primary Accountabilities
  • Deliver products, serve customers, and execute all promotions to multiple stores each day.
  • Operate trucks requiring an appropriate CDL license (e.g., driving forwards, backwards, or maneuvering in tight spaces).
    Follow DOT regulations.
  • Serve all scheduled customers by the end of the daily shift.
  • Merchandise and rotate all accounts to local standards (filling shelves, building displays, making products look attractive, rotating products, cleaning shelves, refilling out‑of‑stocks, removing out‑of‑date products, removing/returning shells, etc.).
  • Push and pull pallet jacks, hand trucks, and breakdowns to move products to and from the truck.
  • Establish positive working relationships with primary contact at each account.
  • Comply with operating procedures (scan‑in/scan‑out, following designated route).
  • Serve customers with communication, rapport building, and attentiveness to customer needs.
  • Maintain regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
Basic Qualifications
  • 21 years or older.
  • Pass the required drug test and physical capabilities test (if applicable).
  • Valid U.S. CDL with Non‑Excepted Interstate Status (for California locations except Stockton; Stockton requires Non‑Excepted Interstate status).
  • Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test.
  • Follow DOT Regulations.
Helpful Experience
  • Operating trucks requiring a Valid U.S. CDL license (perform basic functions, backing into dock spaces, etc.).
  • Delivering products directly to stores (order entry, sales/distribution of products directly to store).
  • Merchandising products (filling shelves, building displays, rotating product, cleaning shelves, replacing out‑of‑stocks, removing out‑of‑date items).
  • Operating handheld computers (inputting data, entering transactions, printing).
  • Operating equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks, breakdowns).
  • Working in a warehouse environment (product storage, staging, forklifts).
Background Check & Drug Screening

Because the role involves regular field work away from a physical company location, including visiting customer locations and interfacing with employees, vendors, and customers, the company has good cause to conduct a review of criminal history in accordance with applicable laws. A conditional offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre‑employment background check and drug screening. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.
