* Kelly Services is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Reach Truck Operator for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Kankakee, Illinois. This position is ideal for an experienced warehouse professional who can operate a stand-up reach truck efficiently while maintaining a strong commitment to accuracy, safety, and productivity.

The assignment is expected to last approximately 3-6 months, with the potential for permanent hire sooner based on attendance, work quality, performance, schedule compatibility, and business needs.

** Job Responsibilities*
* + Safely operate a stand-up reach truck in a warehouse environment.

+ Move, stage, load, and store products and materials.

+ Place and retrieve inventory from designated rack locations.

+ Follow all warehouse safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.

+ Inspect equipment before use and report any safety or maintenance concerns.

+ Maintain accurate product placement and inventory organization.

+ Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

+ Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.

+ Work effectively as part of a team while meeting productivity expectations.

** Qualifications*
* + 2-3 years of previous experience operating a stand-up reach truck or stand-up forklift.

+ Ability to operate material-handling equipment safely and responsibly.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

+ Dependable attendance and punctuality.

+ Ability to work the scheduled Monday-Friday shift.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse duties.

+ Willingness to follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.
