Storeroom Coordinator

Position responsible for managing all storeroom operations and supporting plant success by ensuring inventory is accurate, accessible, and aligned with manufacturing and maintenance needs.

• Maintain and manage storeroom inventory using the Maximo system.
• Process requests for new items and create purchase requisitions (PRs).
• Coordinate with the Purchasing team to place and track orders.
• Receive, verify, and properly document incoming materials and parts.
• Distribute and stock inventory in designated locations.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels, including critical spare parts.
• Perform cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Audit and correct documentation discrepancies; create new records as needed.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities.
• Expedite orders with vendors as necessary to meet operational needs.
• Build and maintain effective vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
• Evaluate pricing and sourcing options for restocking materials.
• Collaborate closely with Maintenance and Reliability teams to determine optimal inventory levels.
• Support maintenance projects by coordinating and staging required parts.
• Assist with locating, picking, and issuing materials.
