Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is hiring adjunct faculty to teach courses in our Philosophy program. The primary responsibility of part-time faculty is to provide quality instruction to students. Adjunct instructors are provided a contract for a single term only. Each contract ends at the end of the term, and a new contract will be provided if the adjunct faculty is hired for another term.
An adjunct faculty member is under the management of the Program/Division Chair and supervised by the Academic Dean. This is not an online-only position, but may include online, hyflex, or hybrid classes in the future. All interested applicants must be able to teach in-person, or you will not be considered for the position.
