Position Description
The City of Carlisle is accepting applications for Reserve Police Officers. Reserve Officers are volunteer positions but all equipment is provided.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess valid OPOTA Basic Police Certificate at time of hire

The City of Carlisle Police Department will review submitted applications and entrance exam results. Selected applicants will be contacted to participate in a required physical fitness examination, extensive background investigation, polygraph, and psychological exam. A post-offer, pre-employment physical and drug test will be administered as a condition of candidate hire.
