Project Manager, Digital Health Behavior Research

UNC Nutrition Research Institute is hiring a Project Manager, Digital Health Behavior Research. The role involves managing digital health intervention projects from concept through implementation, collaborating with researchers and developers to ensure projects meet research objectives, timelines, and user needs while coordinating requirements, user experience research, and quality assurance.

• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables for digital health interventions.
• Serve as the primary liaison among investigators, designers, developers, and qualitative researchers.
• Develop software specifications and user stories; lead project planning and requirements gathering.
• Coordinate user experience and usability research and support quality assurance testing.
• Requires strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience in project management, digital product management, or related fields; master’s degree preferred.
• Preferred experience includes PMP, Agile, Scrum certifications, and familiarity with Jira and Figma.
• Experience in healthcare technology, software development teams, or health-related research projects is beneficial.
• Work within the NIH-funded CHAI Core at UNC, supporting research teams across the university.
• Full-time permanent position with benefits, located at the UNC Nutrition Research Institute on the North Carolina Research Campus.
