Job Description Summary
The Production Supervisor manages daily production operations, leading teams to achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards and ensuring a safe work environment.
Responsibilities And Duties- Supervise and coordinate production staff and lead personnel
- Plan and schedule daily production activities to meet customer deadlines
- Monitor productivity, quality, and efficiency metrics
- Train, develop, and evaluate team members
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs
- Resolve production issues and implement corrective actions
- Prepare production reports and communicate with management
- Manage inventory of supplies and coordinate ordering
- Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions as needed
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of production/manufacturing experience, 2+ years in supervisory capacity
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) REQUIRED
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of production planning and lean manufacturing principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including overtime as needed
- Experience in apparel or textile industry preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Good hand-eye coordination
