Production Manager
Rate: $18-22/Hour
Job Description
Summary:
The Production Lead coordinates daily production activities, leading and supporting production team members to meet quality and productivity targets while ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to standards.
Responsibilities and Duties- Lead and coordinate production team activities to meet daily goals
- Train new production staff on equipment operation and quality standards
- Monitor workflow and adjust team assignments to optimize productivity
- Perform quality checks on finished products
- Troubleshoot production issues and equipment problems
- Communicate production status and issues to Production Supervisor
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized production area
- Provide hands‑on support during peak production times
- Track and report production metrics
Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of production or manufacturing experience
- 1+ year in a lead or supervisory capacity preferred
- Strong knowledge of production processes
- Ability to train and motivate team members
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Effective communication skills
Skills and Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred
- Experience in apparel or textile manufacturing
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Good hand‑eye coordination
- Paid Time Off (PTO) - 2 weeks (80 hours) per year accrued at a rate of 3.08 hours per pay period
