Packer Operator- Nights

Debbie’s Staffing is recruiting for Packer Operator Associates for our client located in Kannapolis, NC
!

Schedule: 6:00pm-6:30am on a 2,2,3 schedule.

Pay: $19.00/hr weekly Pay! Temp to Hire!

• Ensures all materials are correct based on the production schedule for all products being packaged.
• Monitors and inspects the flow of cases to identify and detect defective packaging.
• Operators must ensure the proper set- up of their equipment and processes.
• Achieve Quality metrics.
• Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment.
• Fills out required paperwork accurately.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Adhere to company Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs).
• Adheres to all health, food safety, HAACP, Allergen, sanitation standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices.
• Operators will be accountable for Safety, Quality, and Service in their area of responsibility.
• Uphold the Plant Vision and Code of Conduct.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 1 years’ experience with production equipment and processes preferred.
• Must have attention to detail, and work well with other departments and individuals.
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb steps, and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be reliable and dependable.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in cold/hot, wet and noisy conditions.
