This role reports to the Production Control & Logistics Manager or their designee and is based in Kannapolis, NC, USA. The role supports the delivery and contribution of departmental and organisational objectives. Responsible for supporting day‑to‑day operations within their area of responsibility, working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure high standards of service, compliance, and performance. • Act as a proactive contributor to manufacturing quality, driving improvements through inspection insight, cross-functional collaboration, and effective feedback.

• Develop, create, and optimize CMM inspection programs using appropriate software.
• Select appropriate measurement strategies, alignments, and probing methods for complex geometries.
• Set up and operate CMM equipment, including part fixturing, alignment, and probe calibration, to perform accurate dimensional inspections.
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and specifications.

• Conduct first article inspections, in-process, and final inspections.
• Ensure all measured components meet internal and customer quality standards.
• Generate, review, and maintain inspection reports and documentation ensuring accurate and timely upload to designated systems and accessibility to relevant stakeholders.
• Support inspection and validation of components in line with FIA regulations and motor sport-specific compliance requirements, where applicable.
• Verify dimensional compliance of components against engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications.
• Perform rapid turnaround inspections to meet tight development and race schedule deadlines, ensuring accuracy under time-critical conditions.
• Raise, document, and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) in line with internal processes, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and timely progression.
• Support and administer concession/deviation processes, ensuring appropriate documentation, approvals, and communication with relevant stakeholders.

• Proactively identify recurring dimensional and quality issues and provide structured feedback to CNC programmers, operators, and manufacturing teams to improve right-first-time performance.
