Automotive Service Advisor

Hilbish Ford is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our high-volume service department. As a family-owned dealership with more than 65 years of automotive excellence just outside Charlotte, NC, we are committed to delivering an exceptional experience for every customer.

Service Advisors serve as the primary point of contact for customers, greeting them upon arrival, understanding their service needs, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth service experience from start to finish. Additional responsibilities may include coordinating loaner vehicles, verifying insurance coverage, and communicating service recommendations.

• Greet customers promptly
• Obtain customer and vehicle information
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
• Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
• Establish follow up time
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers

• Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
• Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant
• Very energetic personality
• A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization
• Personal and professional integrity
• Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs
