Responsibilities

• Operate within the policies and regulations of the hospital, facilitates patient access to medical care of appropriate referrals to other health care providers.
• Provide direct patient care to patients within a Medical Treatment Facility
• Render consultative opinions to other physicians and auxiliary health care personnel. Supervises health care offered by non-physicians
• Maintain health and clinical records in accordance with current regulations and standards.
• Responsible for determining when to seek advice and guidance.

PERFORMS OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

Basic Requirement for Physician (Family Practice):

Degree: Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or equivalent from a school in the United States or Canada. This degree must have been accredited by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association;
