Job Goal

To record, process and maintain records of student attendance.

Essential Functions
  • Assist with welcoming all families and students to the building
  • Process all Online Registrations for new and existing students in accordance with district procedures
  • Scan, upload and maintain student registration documents within the Student Information System (SIS)
  • Maintain accurate student household, demographic, and contact information in the SIS
  • Request, receive, and send students records including report cards, transcripts, immunizations, enrollment records, and other educational records as needed.
  • Ensure the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of student records in compliance with applicable policies and regulations
  • Work as part of a team to ensure efficient operation of the school office.
  • Effectively communicate via email, letter, and/or voice with families and staff members across the district.
  • Other clerical/office duties as assigned by the principal
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of Windows, Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and frequent interruptions while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Must be able to pass a typing test with at least 35 wpm
  • Must be able to pass a general spelling test
Communication / Organization

Maintains communication with school personnel, and parents/guardians to enhance cooperative action which will meet the educational needs of students. Utilizes existing technology effectively in the performance of duties. Performs other related work as required.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Language Skills

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of administrators, staff, parents, students, and the general public.
