Step into a vital role as an onsite VOCO Facilitator, providing crucial classroom support in a dynamic school environment near Kansas City, KS. As a Paraprofessional, you’ll be the essential link between students and their virtual instructors, helping foster a productive learning atmosphere—even when the main teacher isn’t physically present. Your focus will be maintaining classroom structure, assisting students with their virtual lessons, and resolving minor technical issues, ensuring that every day in the learning space runs without a hitch.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar school-based support role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to confidently manage student behavior and redirect attention when needed
• Basic troubleshooting skills for classroom technology
• Must be dependable, flexible, and comfortable working in different classroom settings or campuses

Core Responsibilities:

• Serve as an onsite supervisor in classrooms where instruction is led remotely
• Support students’ engagement and understanding of virtual lessons by encouraging focus and clarifying directions as needed
• Manage day-to-day classroom operations, address behavioral issues, and provide basic first-line tech assistance
• Safely escort students between classrooms or to other campus locations as required
• Adapt to varying schedules or assignments, floating between classrooms or campuses to assist where most needed
