Desktop Support/Field Service Technician/Computer Driving Technician

Kansas City, KS (and other US locations)

Type:
Long term Contract / Contract to permanent

• Travel to various customer sites from the pickup parts location to provide on-site service (drive personal vehicle).
• Repair/troubleshoot/perform break-fix on computers/desktops/laptops/printers at business offices and residences.
• Use your own car to travel within a 50–70 mile radius from the pickup location.
• Work primarily on Dell products; prior Dell product experience is a plus.
• Be professional in communication and attire.
• Be prepared for overtime and extensive driving (approximately 300 miles per week).

• A+ Certification mandatory (training/expired status accepted).
• Dell or other product manufacturer certifications are a plus.
• Strong experience with laptops and desktops; break/fix experience required.

• Background check and driving record review after job offer.
• Dell certifications training online and completion of certifications (free).
• Contract terms as per company policy.
• Pay is biweekly for approved hours; mileage reimbursement available.
• Plan for a backup vehicle in case of car breakdown.
