Responsibilities- Lead process improvements and implement engineering solutions to support safety, quality, and efficiency in manufacturing operations.
- Support our commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency through engineering projects and initiatives.
- Minimum of 2 years of college education and 1 year of manufacturing or assembly experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience conducting labor analysis and time studies
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
- Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Proficiency with Windows-based applications such as Excel, Word, Project, and Power Point
- Effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage confidential information
- Additional experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Knowledge of ergonomic principles and process flow development
- Experience in project management and process documentation
- Familiarity with error-proofing techniques like poka-yoke
- Associate’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- More than one year of experience in manufacturing, supporting process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to support and lead engineering projects, including managing engineering changes and process documentation
- Willingness to participate in safety and company culture training
- Support for project management timelines and deliverables, including RFQ support and supplier negotiations
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and participating in emergency procedures
