Industrial Engineer

Overview

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and industrial operations, is seeking an Industrial Engineer 4 to join their team. As an Industrial Engineer 4, you will be part of the Industrial Engineering department supporting process improvements, productivity enhancements, and quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, a proactive mindset, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Industrial Engineer 4

Location: Kansas City, KS

Pay Range: depends on the experience

• Lead line balance and throughput activities to optimize manufacturing productivity
• Support process improvements across various departments including body shop, paint shop, and general assembly
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify waste and implement efficiency solutions
• Engage in daily floor activities, review emails, and prioritize tasks effectively
• Participate in regular meetings such as weekly team reviews, quality discussions, and adhoc departmental meetings

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering roles
• Experience with layout design software such as AutoCAD or Solid Works
• Internship or hands-on experience in manufacturing environments
• Experience working with unionized work forces is a plus
