Industrial Design Engineer

Kansas City, KS
Monday – Friday 1st shift - 6:30AM – 3PM

• Support process improvements across manufacturing departments such as body shop, paint shop, and general assembly
• Assist with line balancing and throughput activities to enhance productivity
• Identify and drive waste reduction initiatives to improve quality and efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support material flow and operational excellence
• Participate in daily meetings and ad hoc discussions to address operational challenges

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering
• Experience with layout design software such as AutoCAD or Solid Works
• Internship or manufacturing experience, ideally in an automotive or unionized environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams
• Open to candidates with 0-2 years of experience, including recent graduates and interns

• Engage in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment with varied responsibilities
• Gain valuable experience supporting multiple departments within a leading automotive plant
• Work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to process improvements
