Perform laboratory and field tests independently and reliably report findings. Identify and propose solutions to routine problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform Environmental Site Assessments and conduct building material sampling.
- Conduct screening of soil and groundwater for various environmental impacts.
- Oversee remediation efforts and coordinate monitoring and testing services to attain regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrate understanding of construction‑related activities and associated safe‑work practices.
- Document test results and review test data for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with data collection and report preparation.
- Work with project manager and client to ensure that project objectives are met.

- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and reporting.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in geology, ecology, environmental studies, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, urban studies, or a related scientific program. - Experience and/or Training:
Minimum of 12 months of experience working in the environmental consulting industry as an environmental project manager or in a similar position. - Licenses/Certificates:
Current driver’s license required.
Essential:
Hearing and vision (both correctable), continuous sitting or standing at a desk or workstation, wrist turning, grasping, pinching, and finger manipulation. Typical computer work and phone use (65%–100% of working time). Frequent walking, lifting or carrying up to 10 lbs, turning and twisting (30%–64% of working time). Occasional reaching, lifting or carrying up to 20 lbs, and push/pull up to 10 lbs (11%–29% of working time).
Rarely taste/smell, stooping, kneeling, crawling, climbing ladders, lifts or scaffolding (0%–9% of working time).
Usually an office environment with computer, telephone, and other office equipment. Frequent interruptions throughout the day are likely. Worksite environments may involve outdoor conditions in all weather and/or tightly enclosed areas with uneven walking surfaces.
Compensation Range$60,000.00 – $90,000.00
