Wastewater Summer Intern
As a condition of employment all employees must pass a post offer criminal history background check, physical examination and drug screen. All employees must also submit proof of identity and employment eligibility.
The Wastewater Summer Intern supports the daily operations and maintenance of wastewater treatment and conveyance facilities. This position provides hands-on experience in environmental compliance, laboratory testing, collections system, and plant operations while exposing the intern to real-world applications of wastewater treatment processes.
Qualifications:
- High School student or above. Currently enrolled in or recently completed coursework in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong interest in environmental protection and water quality
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic computer skills (data entry, spreadsheets)
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Salary Range: $15.00/hr.
