We are seeking a highly experienced environmental professional to serve as a principal-level seller-doer in the Kansas City market. This role is designed for someone who thrives in client development, enjoys being a trusted technical advisor, and wants flexibility to focus on winning work and delivering complex projects without formal people management responsibilities.

You'll be a visible leader in the market, helping expand environmental services through relationships, reputation, and technical excellence.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Lead business development efforts by cultivating client relationships and identifying new opportunities
  • Act as a seller-doer, staying actively involved in project execution for priority clients

  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction
  • Represent the organization at industry and networking events in the Kansas City region

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting
  • Strong client network or transferable book of business within the regional market
  • Demonstrated ability to originate and grow work

  • Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor and client advisor
  • Relevant technical degree, professional certification, or licensure / PE or PG preferred

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Emphasis on revenue generation and client impact, not people management
  • High level of autonomy and market visibility
  • Opportunity to shape growth through expertise and relationships rather than team oversight

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation
  • Medical, dental, vision, & life insurance
  • 401(k) plan, ESOP
  • PTO and paid holidays
  • We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer
  • AA/EEO/Veterans/Disability friendly employer
