PositionSummary
At PROENERGY, we emphasize a ONE‑TEAM approach where our Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Start‑Up, Document Controls, and Operations teams work seamlessly for our clients as a solutions provider for the power industry. We seek an Electrical Engineer that has a passion for ownership and pride in the quality of our deliverables. The Electrical engineer will execute technical work on our EPC projects.
This entry to mid‑level role will ultimately report to our Electrical Principal Engineer as we continue to build our in‑house EPC engineering team. You will work collaboratively with our integrated EPC team along with our clients to execute and provide world‑class, quality‑focused deliverables for our construction team. Your ability to adapt and be flexible will be invaluable as you coordinate multiple jobs and help develop guidelines and procedures.
As we lead the transition from reliance on third‑party engineers to building and managing a fully functional in‑house engineering team, your technical knowledge will greatly impact business planning to add engineering quality standards and develop our own deliverables.

Position Responsibilities- Execute the electrical technical design on our projects
- Perform or review all engineering, design, analysis, and other technical tasks within the electrical discipline utilizing current technology, available standards, calculation software, templates, and cataloged products
- Prepare/review load lists, power system studies, single lines, equipment layouts, area classifications, sizing calculations, schematics, equipment specifications, data sheets, requisitions, and technical bid analysis
- Work collaboratively with our integrated EPC team along with our clients to execute RFIs, deliverable reviews, change order requests, engineering equipment buyout, etc.
- Regularly perform reviews of vendor documents to ensure specifications and data sheet requirements are met
- Seek ways to improve customer satisfaction, the quality of the work product, and operating efficiencies
- Help develop, review and implement guidelines and procedures to ensure engineering standardization and templating of our PowerFLX work
- Stay up to date with the latest technology and industry practices and find practical applications
- Perform assigned work efficiently and effectively to maximize person productivity
- Establish credibility in terms of technical competency and team‑leading ability
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited program
