Order Engineer

Job Summary

Order Engineer – Kansas City, KS (Full‑time, salaried, on‑site, Monday‑Friday)

• Consult with internal project managers, application engineers, project and product engineers, and customers to plan or clarify project requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare documents for customer purchase orders that meet order requirements and customer specifications, including order submittals, instruction manuals, test reports, and quality reports.
• Review orders entered into SAP and validate them against customer specifications and purchase orders.
• Complete calculation requirements using templates, coordinate with the Product Engineering team for internal custom‑engineered calculations, and prepare data packages for third‑party calculations.
• Prepare and communicate technical clarifications related to order documents, vendor technical data, and quality requirements.

• Bachelor’s (B.S.) degree in an engineering‑related discipline.
• Ability to read technical schematics and plans, such as CAD drawings and bills of material, to understand component‑level operations and functions.
• Self‑motivated with advanced problem‑solving, analytical, mathematical, and mechanical skills.
• Proven ability to communicate professionally with individuals within and outside the organization.
• Solid organizational skills to respond to requests and meet multiple deadlines.

Annualized base pay range: $61,200 – $113,600 per year. The actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience, education, licensure, certifications, and other relevant factors. The position may also be eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus.
