Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing company
, is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join their team. As an Industrial Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering team supporting Production, Quality, Maintenance, Materials, Safety, and Ergonomics teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a continuous improvement mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Industrial Engineer
Location: Kansas City, KS
Pay Range: $62.93/hour
- Lead the development and maintenance of labor standards, standardized work, and line balancing initiatives.
- Analyze manufacturing performance data to identify productivity improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Support production launches, model changeovers, and process readiness activities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
- Perform time studies, capacity analysis, and manufacturing process evaluations to optimize plant performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 2+ years of Industrial Engineering experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Experience with time studies, work measurement, line balancing, and standardized work development.
- Proficiency with engineering and analytical tools such as AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar software.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project leadership skills.
