Sr. Plant Controls Engineer

Global Source IT has a Direct Client need in the Deerfield, KS area looking for multiple Sr. Plant Automation/Controls Engineers to assist with one of their key processing plants as they work through an increase in automation/controls based efforts. This role needs a self starter and someone who can jump into the plant to get hands-on with troubleshooting communications between devices, diagnose plant automation/controls issues, support both legacy or new PLC products, and upgrades or modernization efforts alike.

This environment includes iFIX, Schneider Electric/Modicon PLC's, Keyence, Cognex, or SICK products. These roles will require someone who can be onsite 50% of the time (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off) and will start at an initial 3 Months based on performance.

• Must have over 10 years of Sr. Controls/Plant Automation Engineering experience with support for enterprise plant/processing facility
• Strong hands-on work with Schneider Electric/Modicon PLCs, iFIX HMI/Scada, Sensors, Visual Cameras, Field Devices, etc
• Must have at least 1-2 projects supporting enterprise automation efforts for conveyors, material handling systems, optics, motors/drives, or other related equipment
• Ability to work in a hectic and high performing environment will be key for the ideal candidates
