Finance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform collection duties related to member/retail customers, ensuring payments are collected/applied timely and accurately, with payment returns and exception handling addressed and/or escalated properly.
• Assist in the coordination of shareholder relations activities, including, but not limited to on-boarding, shareholder interactions, shareholder payments, and internal accounting related to shareholder programs.
• Provide support related to certain banking functions.
• Other assigned tasks related to Finance and Treasury responsibilities.

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting or business-related field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Power Point
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to exhibit a high degree of confidentiality
• Ability to critically think, problem-solve, and exhibit patience and level-headedness in a fast paced environment
• Collection experience preferred
