Job Description

Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers to provide the best possible counsel while adapting a digital first mindset. They engage customers through multiple channels including in-person, by appointment, and virtually, assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, obtain and process customer and account information, demonstrate and educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services, and recommend solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs.

They build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up, asking questions about their financial needs and banking channel preferences. They identify solutions for new and existing clients, maintain knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services including digital offerings, and provide an optimal client experience by greeting clients, processing basic transactions, and collaborating with branch team members.

They open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, submit credit applications, proactively educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products, and leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience with operational excellence and accuracy.

This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. Applicants must complete mandatory registration, including a criminal background and credit check. Maintaining NMLS registration and a satisfactory criminal and credit record is required.

Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Typically five or more years of retail banking experience or equivalent experience and training
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Proven ability to build and foster relationships through proactive outreach and engagement
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems
  • Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Experience participating in sales campaigns and promotions
  • Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies
  • Ability to identify customers’ true needs using a digital‑first mindset
  • Advanced recommendation skills that meet customer needs both reactively and proactively
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred

Pay Range: $27.00 – $33.00 per hour.
