We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team! We are looking for a collaborative team member, with a student mindset, who is passionate about helping others, independent, and respectful of others' opinions!
Position Summary: The Registered Behavior Technician is responsible for implementing the Treatment Plan goals and objectives written and maintained by the BCBA. These goals may include, but are not limited to: daily living skills, hygiene, community access, communication, and social skills. Some clients may have basic medical needs in which they need assistance. RBTs will work in the client’s residence but may occasionally support the clients in other settings.
Hours of work are arranged with the Supervising BCBA, client, and their family and may vary from week to week, depending on the client’s needs. The RBT will be responsible for keeping daily records and providing weekly summaries documenting services provided. The RBT will be under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and collaborate with supervisors as well as the client’s caregivers.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with intakes and assessments
- Implements individualized treatment plans for each client supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analyst or Autism Specialist
- Uses evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate individual treatments
- Maintains detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
- Performs regular wellness checks
- Adheres to all facility and licensing standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, ABA, special education, or other related field (Preferred)
- The free 40
Hr Online Behavior Technician Training certificate of completion from Autism Partnership Foundation, or current RBT license - Previous experience working with individuals with Autism
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certified (Preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized
