Outpatient Registration Scheduler

Prime Healthcare -  - Responsibilities:
Schedule patient appointments, clinic visits such as surgery, G.I. Lab, Cardiac Cath Lab, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, Nutritional Services, Infusion units or any other location where scheduling of a test or procedure may occur;
Greet and register patients upon arrival, collect and verify personal, medical, and insurance information for accurate hospital records, and obtain necessary signatures on consent forms, privacy notices, and billing authorizations;
Ensure that accurate, complete and thorough patient demographics are entered into the computer system, including insurance and authorizations, if applicable;
Notify departments as necessary of various services that may require, equipment, instrumentation and supplies from outside vendors for scheduled surgeries;
Prepare and distribute the surgical schedule and on call list to appropriate departments or personnel
