Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent’s corporate client has an immediate need for an eDiscovery Specialist
OverviewLead complex eDiscovery matters across the full EDRM, driving defensible, efficient, and well-governed workflows in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
Experience6+ years of eDiscovery experience required
LocationKansas City/Overland Park
Responsibilities Include- Manage end-to-end eDiscovery projects, including scoping, timelines, budgets, documentation, and quality control.
- Serve as primary point of contact for high-visibility matters, coordinating across Legal, outside counsel, vendors, and technical teams.
- Oversee vendor performance, ensuring alignment on SOWs, budgets, workflows, and defensibility standards.
- Apply structured project management and governance practices to manage risk, scope, and change control.
- Drive process and workflow improvements, standardization, automation, and documentation enhancements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Technical Services, Cybersecurity, Data Management) to improve efficiency and handoffs.
- Provide clear, proactive reporting through dashboards, summaries, and progress updates.
- 6+ years of eDiscovery leadership or equivalent legal operations, attorney, or senior paralegal experience is required
- Proven success managing complex matters with governance, budgeting, risk management, and KPI tracking.
- Deep understanding of EDRM, defensibility standards, TAR/AI-driven review, automation, and workflow design.
- Expertise with eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity, Microsoft 365), including search, validation, and dashboarding.
Pay Rate: $55/hour
