Overview

ResponsibilitiesAs an Enterprise Data Architect, you’ll play a key role in designing and delivering UAL’s enterprise data and information management frameworks. Reporting to the Head of Data Architecture, you’ll lead the development of data‑centric solutions that support the full data lifecycle from planning and acquisition to governance and usage.
You’ll translate business strategy into scalable data architectures, define high‑level integrated designs, and develop reference models that align with UAL’s strategic goals. You’ll also lead the creation of business information models, support data governance, and help surface the most valuable data assets to drive evidence‑based decision‑making.
Working closely with senior leaders, architects, and cross‑functional teams, you’ll ensure that our data architecture aligns with strategic goals and supports innovation, governance, and operational excellence.
Qualifications- Proven experience in data architecture, including developing data and information architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps.
- Strong experience in data warehousing, data modelling, data lakes, master data management, or data analytics.
- Strong knowledge of TOGAF, DAMA‑DMBOK2, and architecture frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of an organisation, whether non‑technical or technical.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and their application to evolving business models.
