Pay, Benefits, & Work ScheduleSG: T5B/$120,533 - $150,666
Duties and Responsibilities- Manage Meter Data Management System, including custom report development, functional support, application configuration, troubleshooting, data analysis, automated scripting, and interface support.
- Manage a variety of initiatives and projects from inception to completion including application implementations, new technology installations, and significant upgrade initiatives to current and future technology environments.
- Participate in project development activities from requirements gathering to implementation, including project dependencies, critical path, scope, goals, application development, and deliverables that support business objectives.
- Create and maintain process documentation to include system upgrade plans, personnel training, project organization and requirements, and systems dependency matrix including functional specifications and technical specifications.
- Maintain a big picture perspective. Serve as a mentor to project sponsors and project team members to educate and assist them with implementing business change management, identifying risks, issues, and impediments.
- Assist in managing customer expectations and achieving organizational goals. Be prepared to administer training programs to users and work to facilitate an environment conducive to learning. Maintain a respectful and transparent attitude with those users to whom you support.
- Denotes essential functions
- B.S. or B.A. degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years demonstrated work experience.
- 5 years of experience working with enterprise Metering Solutions/Billing systems.
- 1-3 years of which include hands on experience upgrading, installing, and configuring these systems.
- CIS or MDM design or functional architect experience preferred with Oracle
- Utility industry experience is helpful, either as a full-time employee or a consultant
- Telecommunications or Cable industry billing and customer information experience will be considered
- 5+ years overall meaningful professional experience, including experience in consulting or with a systems integrator
- Staying up-to-date with latest technology and keeping a forward-looking eye on the Utility industry
- Strong working knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) systems of an electric and water utility is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office, SharePoint, and Access
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and excel at meeting deadlines, even when under pressure.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
